Queer Hero's Journey workshop
with Anna Stewart
From a contemporary perspective, we will explore six stages of the Hero's Journey. Our goal is to understand our own experiences, skills, and perceptions that demonstrate how we show up for ourselves and the world. We will use prompts, poems, and discussion along the way.
Anna Stewart (she/her) is a queer creative writing teacher and collage artist based in Boulder. She published articles, columns, books, and essays in many forms and is currently working on a hybrid anthology based on the Hero's Journey. As a long-time disability advocate and educator, she provides a safe, inspiring space for many voices writing our stories.
