Tyler Hurula is the pinkest poet in Denver. She strives to be the most queer and polyamorous
person they can be. Author of Too Pretty for Plain Coffee (Wayfarer Books). She’s been nominated
for Best of the Net and Pushcart Prizes, and was a finalist for the Write Bloody 2024 Jack McCarthy
Book Prize Contest.

D.L. Cordero (they/ellé/naya), Higuayagua Taíno of the Caribbean, is a speculative fiction author, occasional poet, and horror dabbler working out of Denver, CO. Their work can be found in several literary magazines and anthologies, such as Listen To Your Skin: An Anthology of Queer and Self-Love, Take the Fruit: An Anthology of Religious Trauma, and Denver Noir from Akashic Books, which won the Colorado Book Award in 2023. They are a 2026 MFA graduate from Randolph College and a 2024 Periplus Collective Fellow. Isabel Grey (she/her) is a poet, fiction writer, and collage artist. She holds MFAs in Genre Fiction
and Poetry from Western Colorado University. Isabel is an editor at Terrain.org. Her work received
the WordCrafter Press Best Fiction Award and nominated for a Pushcart Prize.

Sarah Elizabeth Schantz is a writer, witch, and widow living in a Victorian bungalow on the east
side of Old Town Longmont close to the tracks and the nostalgic rumble of freight trains passing
through. Her novel Fig debuted from Simon & Schuster in 2015 and was selected by NPR as A Best
Read of the Year before winning a 2016 Colorado Book Award. Her short fiction, essays, and poems
have been published in a multitude of journals. She adjuncts for the MFA at Naropa University; is
faculty at Lighthouse Writers Workshop; and owns and operates (W)rites of Passage where she
offers workshops and manuscript midwifery with an emphasis on divinatory poetics.

B the poet is a spoken word poet, author and poetry slam host currently residing in Denver. B has had the opportunity to travel across the country performing on national stages, teaching workshops at various high schools, and now, hosts a monthly poetry slam at Petals and Pages of Denver called The Lavender Mic.

Alecia Jay Davis is a poet living in Denver. Her poems have appeared in Ink In Thirds Magazine,
and will be in t’ART Magazine, and Black Warrior Review. She was accepted into the Tin House
2024 Online Winter Workshop, and an Advanced Workshop taught by Eileen Myles at LitFest 2026.

Brand New Queers is a gang of poetic misfits, with skin made from scar dust and a need to disrupt. They are made up of Steph Lujan, Cortney Collins, Angela Palermo and Aimee Herman.

Rajiv Mohabir is an Indo-Caribbean American poet and translator. He is the author of several poetry collections including Seabeast, Cutlish, and the most recent Banbas / Exile: A Ramayan Retelling as well as the memoir Antiman. He is an assistant professor of poetry in the Department of English at the University of Colorado Boulder.

Crisosto Apache is from Mescalero, New Mexico, on the Mescalero Apache reservation with Apache and Diné ancestry. Crisosto is the 11th CO Poet Laureate, an award-winning poet, 2026 recipient of the Academy of American Poets Laureate Fellowship, the Montolvo Center Lucas Artist Fellow, a three-time Pushcart Prize nominee, a board member and editor at large for the Offing Magazine, and an Associate Professor of English and Creative Writing. Apache is the author of three poetry collections and advocates for the Two-spirit/Indigiqueer community.
