Breathe, Sound, Sing: Vocal Workshop with Elena Camerin Young

Every human being is a creative being. With this workshop, I invite students to explore their own voice, learn how to ignite their creative process, and find joy in their art making. The workshop is dedicated to vocalists, instrumentalists and atrtists from any

discipline of any level and experience. I’ve been singing, chorus and band leading, composing, teaching, and leading

workshops for 3 decades, in the U.S.A and in Italy, and my experience led me to the development of a unique approach that uses mindfulness and meditation, together with improvisation exercises to develop ideas and tools for art making. Through the embodiment of our own instrument, we can find our creative seed, and learn how to work with our voice, making room for all arising possibilities, eschewing judgment and embracing the moment.
