In 2014, veteran singer-songwriters and longtime friends/touring partners Edie Carey and Sarah Sample released their first duo album, ’Til The Morning: Lullabies and Songs of Comfort, which garnered widespread praise and several awards, including Best Children’s Album in the 2014 Independent Music Awards. They enjoyed such success with that release that they were inspired to record a follow up album on the 10 year anniversary of their first collaboration. Lantern In The Dark: Lullabies and Songs of Comfort was released October 18th, 2024 and they've been performing across the country in support it, including appearances at Rocky Mountain Folks Fest, the legendary Club Passim in Cambridge, and Denver’s storied Swallow Hill. The duo just recently won their second NAPPA award (National Parenting Product Award) for Lantern: “Gorgeous…exquisitely crafted songs that are guaranteed to touch your heart.” (NAPPA Awards)
