Dennis has enjoyed a variety of music and instruments during the past 35 years, both solo and in collaboration with various other people.  A mostly self-taught amateur, he has performed in folk choirs, at nursing homes (solo and with a band), and on small stages at Irish festivals and sci-fi conventions. He has been a drum circle facilitator and continues to be a participant.

Throughout his musical journey, he has played the guitar, mandolin, banjolin, harmonica, cajon, djembe, and bodhran, and he is now trying his hand at the Irish bouzouki.  He is not a master of any of these instruments but enjoys adding a joyful sound to any musical experience. He likes to occasionally find a good jam session or go busking on Pearl Street in Boulder. He enjoys music the most when it is a shared experience.
