Queer Grievers Co. is a peer, death doula led support group for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. We offer a safe and affirming environment to discuss grief unique to our community. Each session will include 30-40 minutes of discussion followed by a creative or cleansing activity. There is no mandatory attendance requirement; please choose the sessions that you would like to attend based off of the month’s theme. Please note: This group is not mental health therapy, nor is it intended to be used as a substitute.
About Mynerva (they/them):
Mynerva Archer is an author and death doula located in Boulder County, CO. Raised as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in rural Upstate New York, Archer frequently writes about death, dying, and being raised in a high-control religion. From fear to resilience, Archer understands the grieving process of unlearning a destructive faith in order to live their truth.
