About
The Silo Sisters is a songwriter supergroup of multi-instrumentalists Bonnie Sims (Big Richard), Phoebe Hunt (The Gatherers), and Melody Walker (Front Country). Summoned in 2023 inside an actual abandoned silo while teaching at Rocky Mountain Folks Fest Song School, the friends-turned-folk trio first cast a wider spell on TikTok with their viral original song “The Missing Stair,” which emerged as an anthem for survivors of abuse. Though each sister tends her own flourishing musical path, Sims, Hunt, and Walker periodically gather to conjure a witchy brew of unflinching songs, roots-soaked picking, and healing harmonies—alchemy only these three musicians can make together.
