Louise Larson
(she/her)
Instructor: Flute, Alto and Tenor Saxophone
Ever since she can remember, music has been the main passion and joy in Louise’s life. From starting choir at 5, to picking the flute up at 8, music has always been what she has worked her entire world around. She has now been playing the flute for 10 years, picking up the saxophone along the way, and has performed in various ensembles across Colorado, including the Longmont Youth Symphony, Greater Boulder Youth Orchestra, and both the Colorado All State Band and Orchestra.
As a current sophomore at the University of Colorado - Boulder, Louise is majoring in Music Education, performing in multiple university ensembles on both the flute and saxophone. In 2024, she hosted both a weekly jazz group for middle school girls in jazz, and a music day camp for elementary aged kids on the autism spectrum.
Whether the flute or saxophone, Louise is here to help you learn and grow on your instrument no matter the motive, whether towards a future in music or just for the joy of being able to play whatever music you love most.
When not making music, you can find Louise reading, soaking up all things Disney, and playing with her wonderful dog, Brownie.
