Michelle Dawson has had the privilege of studying, performing, and teaching internationally. Her primary teacher, mentor, and artistic influence has been Italian-Australian based Cherie Broome. Michelle has observed that training in the arts provides an important framework for understanding and developing one’s self-awareness, agency, values, resilience, social bonding, boundaries, and communication.

 

She is passionate about equal access to a world-class science-based music education for everyone, and brings her relatability and vast experience into every interaction. When she’s not practicing piano, she is probably dancing.
